Thanksgiving

Monday, November 30, 2015

We packed up Mike's new car and took it up to Kentucky to celebrate Thanksgiving with the McClanahans. Blair was beyond excited to play with all of her cousins, even though she picked up a cold from her friends at school right before we left. She fought off a little fever most of the weekend, but she was such a trooper - she loved being outside in the cool air, jumping, running, dancing, playing with sticks and watching Grandpa smoke the turkeys.

Saluting Dada haha
Over at Mike's Aunt's house, we ate platefuls of amazing food, watched football and then soaked up some sun by tossing a football in the front yard. The kids got in on the fun and worked off some energy rolling down a hill in the side-yard, while little Baby M observed everything with a smile. He's getting so big and his whole face lights up when he smiles - it's adorable!

What's Thanksgiving without a little pigskin?

HE IS SO HANDSOME.

"Are you ready to catch the ball?"
Cousin H: "Maybe?!"

She did it!

Having the whole family together was such a blast - all the kids are really starting to interact and play together. Blair and Cousin F have become best buddies and he is just so sweet with her, holding her hand, asking her questions and encouraging her to play. Of course, Blair and Cousin C were thrilled to see each other again and got into all kinds of mischief at Grandma and Grandpa's house - we're really in for a wild ride with those two!
