Twenty-two months - where has the time gone?!
I'm changing things up this month - all the pictures in this post are from our Christmas card session with Justin Wright Photography! Ever since we moved to Tennessee, I've been fawning over Justin's incredible wedding photography, so when I saw that he was offering a first-ever family mini session, I did a little happy dance booked as fast as I could! It was a little chilly and Blair was more interested in running around in the leaves than taking pictures, but he was fantastic to work with and we got so many great family shots. It was so nice, albeit a little awkward, for this hobbytographer to be in front of the camera for once, rather than behind it!

Weight: 25 pounds even!
Height: 32 inches

Sleeping: like a little baby rock. She will bring us her blanket and dolly when she's ready for bed and she just loves snuggling her new memory foam pillow!

Eating: Bananas all day erryday. Except in extra-confusing Blair-language they've morphed from "bahs" to "muhs" for some reason.

Favorite Things
Playing in the leaves. She loves to play in leaf piles, tear up dead leaves and watch dada attempt to rake our yard. She calls them "yeafs" and it's one of the cutest things I've ever heard.

Jumping and flying in the air. We have a tiny daredevil on our hands. She loves when dada tosses her up above his head and when we swing her by the arms (GENTLY) up in the air.

Least Favorite Things
There isn't too much that she HATES right now. She eats her vegetables at school (hooray, peer pressure!) and she's really settling into an easy-going groove. However, she does wear her emotions on her sleeve - if she's mad at you, she's going to give you side-eyes and you will know!

Milestones
- First day of school! Aside from contracting every single germ in the school, she is really thriving in her new environment. We went through a couple days of separation anxiety, where I basically had to wear her in the Lillebaby from the time we walked in the door at night to when she took a bath before bed, but she's doing much better now. The extra snuggle time was good for my heart too - I love what I do, but I miss her so much during the day!

New Words
- "boops" (poop, and she will point to her diaper when it's dirty haha), "shockings" (stockings), "Weeee!" (when she goes fast or swings on the swing)
- She's getting more confident in mimicking words and sounds now, especially animal noises and numbers. We sing the alphabet but she only knows a couple of letters and will randomly say them throughout the day. I think her favorite word in the world is "no" and she pairs it with "bye" to be the ultimate toddler. "No. Bye!" haha.

Always keeps us laughing - our little prankster
