Mike and I became an uncle and aunt for the second time a few weeks ago, as his sister and her husband welcomed a little baby boy, M! We had already planned a visit to his parent's house for the weekend of June 27 because of a wedding and it turned out Little M knew we were coming - he arrived just in time for us to meet him!
Mike's parents hosted a little dinner to celebrate the new addition and have the great aunts and uncle over to visit and, in true Mike McClanahan fashion, the place was dressed to the nines for the occasion. Mike decorated the back patio, dubbed for the evening as the McClanahan Bistro, and we ate like kings.

Slightly overdressed for the occasion was Blair, sporting a dress Grandma McClanahan got for her during our October trip to Gatlinburg. It finally fits (size 12M) and I couldn't resist breaking it out for the party. And look at those CURLS!
Blair and cousin C, M's older sister, had the best time playing with each other and now that C is mobile, these two are a tiny wrecking crew. They kept us all on our toes and laughing.

There really is nothing better than a snuggly, squishy little newborn and the love of a growing family. I was honored that my sister-in-law asked me to take M's newborn photos and I am so proud of how they turned out!

I have so many amazing memories with my cousins (heck, I even work with one of them!) and this little trio is bound to cause some trouble of their own in the years to come, especially being so close in age. I can't wait to see the antics they come up with!
