The Murphlanrouxs (soon to be some iteration of the Murbroulahans - another Murphy wedding is being planned!!) descended on Park City, Utah for a week of coffee consumption, nature appreciation, stuffing our faces, and craft beer. We've done Colorado and Wyoming locations, but this was our first time in Utah and it was beautiful!
We arrived halfway through the week due to my work schedule, but we made it and that's what matters! Blair and I flew out, while Mike took the opportunity to hit the open road... and also because plane tickets are expensive and we didn't know if he was coming until the last minute. #adulting
Blair and I arrived at the Nashville airport at 6am for our 7:30am flight - which didn't depart until 10:30am due to a malfunctioning part that needed to be replaced by a part flown in from another city. Delta was incredibly gracious about the whole thing and put out an entire table of snacks and drinks to pass the time. There were little coloring books for the kids, and our gate was right next to the Terminal B play area. I can't say enough great things about that delay - Blair was a trooper and we passed the time really well.

All buckled into her seat!
She fell asleep within minutes of boarding and woke up with 25 minutes of the flight left - travel pro! |

Watching Peppa Pig flying to her holiday house. |
After we finally arrived, we all took a short "hike" on a wooded path in the mountainside neighborhood where our rental house was located. The front porch of the house had an absolutely gorgeous view of the mountains and sunrise - while the back deck had a little waterfall feature on a grassy slope.

I don't think she walked much on this hike. |

One morning we woke up to the sunrise and some hot air balloons taking off from somewhere in the Valley. Blair was so excited about them that every morning after that, she'd run out onto the deck and look for balloons. It was adorable and I got some great pictures through the fog and sunlight!
Most of our down time was spent on the large wrap-around deck, taking in the views, watching warring hummingbirds, spotting chipmunks, and laughing at Blair and Megan doing laps. While the deck was great for keeping Blair occupied, there was no railing in the back and she fell off the porch into the rocks, while pushing her baby stroller... but she was fine and it only happened once!

While the rest of the group hiked straight up the side of Bald Mountain, we took Blair to a cute little city park, where she ran off a ton of energy. We also hit the links at a local mini golf course and Blair had a blast trying chasing everyone's balls and putting them in the hole. It wasn't the most regulation game of miniature golf, but it was funny to watch. And dad even got a hole in one!

At the park!

Sad we had to wait in a line.
Not pictured - the SUPER SAD face she made when she had to return her golf club. |

Impeccable form, Blair. |

Yeah, baby! Dropped one in! |

Aside from all the outdoor fun and excursions, we introduced Blair to the art of cheering on Team USA in the Olympics and she discovered the movie "Despicable Me: 2" and her new obsession with the Minions began. She would request the "Minits" movie every morning when she woke up and made herself a little spot on the floor with her besties Peppa & George to watch.

"Go, go, go! Win! C'mon!" |
The house we rented also had a beautiful piano that Blair just fell in love with. She spent many hours sitting at the piano
singing, playing and making her little friends dance to the music. It was adorable!
