Easter

We packed up the car this weekend and headed up to Kentucky for a fun-filled Easter! We had a low-key, mini-Easter celebration on Saturday for the little cousins - we took them to the park to see the duckies and burn off some energy at the playground. The girls tore into their Easter baskets, squealing over all the Frozen-themed goodies. Blair was thrilled by the coloring books, Elsa outfit, and of course, a box of Cheez-Its!

They're just so sweet together, I can hardly stand it.

An enormous coloring book from the McEaster Bunny!

On Sunday morning Blair played Egg Hunt with the dog in the yard. She kept saying "No, Woocy! My eggs!" but Lucy was sniffing them out no matter where B hid them. I was able to sneak in a little pre-craziness mini shoot with her and her Easter basket. I can't believe how much she has grown, but watching her spunky, sweet personality come to life is just so incredible.

On Sunday we all went to Mike's Aunt's house for the extended family Easter lunch. Cousin F and Cousin H were also there and they brought along an impressive cache of bubbles from the Easter Bunny! Blair was so excited about the bubble machine, she was dancing and squealing and saying "more, more!"

Cousin F is so sweet and patient with her. <3

We had a massive front-yard egg hunt for all the kids and they were so excited! Competition was fierce, and it was a hilarious free-for-all, but they had a great time. The big kids had candy in their eggs and the little girls got hair-bows, carrots, gold dollars (oh yeah!), raisins, and little whistles with, of course, Anna and Elsa on them.

Egg hunt madness!

The only picture of us from Easter.
We'll try harder next year.
These two goofballs! haha
