"Today you are you,
that is truer than true.
There is no one alive
that is youer than you!"
- Dr. Suess

I cannot believe it's been three years since we first met this amazing little person face-to-face. It actually blows my mind that so much time has passed and that she has grown so big - in both size and personality, haha. Mimi was in town for the weekend before Blair's birthday and since Mike was going to be out of town for work that week, we had a little Sunday donut breakfast party and presents.

Weight: 29 pounds

Height: 35.75 inches

Sleeping: So, so well in her new Big Girl bed! She absolutely loves the size of the full bed - there is finally enough room to roll around without waking up crying in the middle of the night. We snuggle and read books every night before she goes to sleep and there's room for all 3 of us!

Eating: She is brave enough to try lots of new things, but she certainly has her favorites. Donuts, popcorn, tacos (from Chipotle, of course), cheeseburgers, and pizza are her top five!

Mom took this one, so we're out of focus. Whoops!

Favorite Things
Chipotle
I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but homegirl is obsessed with Chipotle tacos. Anytime we ask her to pick dinner, she asks to hit up the "taco store." She builds up her own taco with a handful of rice, some chicken and some cheese, and then inevitably spills half of it on her lap before she can get in a bite. Then, she finishes off with her fork, haha.

Dress-Up
If it's not a princess dress at home, it's a rainbow cape at school - this child is always dressed up as something. Her favorite thing is to dress up and then tell us her name isn't Blair anymore, it's Blair-Belle, Dr. Blair, Blair-Elsa, "Rah-pinsel," or Batman.

Baking
Whether it's brownies or pretzels, Blair absolutely loves helping me bake and cook in the kitchen. She is a great ingredients mixer and even does well cracking eggs!

Least Favorite Things
Coming inside
She always puts up a fight when it's time to come inside after playing outside. She gets in trouble at school for not listening when it's time to line up after outside time is over. At least three times a week we have to have a post-school talk about why she needs to stop running away from Ms. Amanda on the playground. We may need to install a doggie-door for her onto the deck this summer, haha.

New Skills
- Knows her middle and last name
- Counts to 20 in English, 10 in Spanish
- Knows a majority of the words to all the songs from Frozen, which she yells at the top of her lungs in the car.

_________________________________________________________

Daddy was out of town for work on her actual birthday, so it was just us girls celebrating with a giant cupcake from Publix and the self-timer on my camera. She liked using the remote shutter to take pictures of herself and we re-lit and blew out the candles no less than five times. We sang "Happy Birthday" all night and she even shared her cupcake with me.

Happy birthday, love. I can't wait to see what this next year holds for you.
