Christmas in Leiper's Fork

Sunday, December 14, 2014

MeeMaw came in for a weekend in early December and we packed up Blair for a visit to Leiper's Fork, an adorable town near Franklin, Tennessee, that is home to lots of country music people and an adorable historic downtown area. The town hosts a Christmas parade every year and we were excited to see all the floats (which I forgot to take pictures of) and Mike Wolfe from American Pickers!

The downtown area was decorated like a scene out of a Christmas movie, including this adorable vintage Jeep looking like it was taking home a tree. There were fire pits set up all over town where visitors could make s'mores and warm up, which was really nice because it was freeeezing! We walked in and out of the shops, picked up a few last minute Christmas gifts and soaked in the festive, small town atmosphere.

She's so cute I can hardly stand it.

Blair squealed with delight when we made a little four-legged friend named Rebel.
