Front Yard Adventurer

Sunday, April 12, 2015

The weather is starting to get warm without the oppressive humidity that we know and hate love, so we're spending a lot of our afternoons and evenings outside in the yard. Mike came across some snakes in the backyard while he was mowing the grass (cue panic and thoughts of burning the yard down) so we usually set up shop in the front yard to avoid any run-ins with the scary things.
I can't remember now when we bought it, but one time we were at IKEA and I picked up this tunnel, knowing how much kiddos like to crawl through them. Blair is a huge fan of it and will happily spend an evening throwing balls through it and crawling after them. Specifically softballs, which she hauls out of Mike's bucket in the garage to litter them across the yard.

She likes to run to the trees, hide behind them, and then wave at us.

The light caught her eyes just at the right angle in these two, I didn't edit them at all!

Counting!
Escaping

She likes watching and waving to bigs kids on their bikes in the neighborhood

Happy as a clam to just play with every softball from the garage
