We drove back up to Kentucky the weekend after Easter for the real spring holiday - Opening Day of baseball! Mike's parents got tickets for us, Danielle and Alex, so we left all the kiddos with the grandparents and headed over the bridge to watch the Cincinnati Reds take on my hometown Philadelphia Phillies (even though I wore my Cincy gear and cheered for my favorite Red - Jay Bruce)

Watching Frozen with "PeePaw" - as she now calls him! |
I tried to bribe her with a cookie to take a nice picture.
It didn't work. |
Fueling up on Cheerios before the game! |
We had a lot of Team Spirit haha
Matching shirts with Baby M! |
Chaos. Grandma and PeePaw didn't know what they volunteered for. |
We left the rambunctious children with the grandparents and headed downtown for the annual Opening Day Parade! Mike cheered loudly at all the floats with mascots and we even got a courtesy wave from Rosie Red!
My friend Marissa (Bee Mine Sunshine link above) was hard at work in Washington Park
so we stopped by to say hi and have a quick hug before we headed to the stadium |
We followed the end of the parade for a while and people were waving at us like we belonged there hahaha |
Suspension Bridge selfies |
Happy Opening Day, fans! |
Flyover! |
The sun went down and it got SO.COLD. |
After an exciting Reds victory, we headed back to the house to see how the kids and grandparents were holding up. All the littles were waiting for us in the front window when we returned and Grandma and PeePaw were ready for bed.
